Our People
Our staff enjoy serving our residents, Archer is like an extended family.
To ensure we provide a quality service, all our staff are involved in professional development.
For example our Clinical staff receive training in the industry-acclaimed Aged Care Education (ACE) programme, leading to the National Certificate in Community Service. Overall we endeavour to personalise our care and services to our residents as part of fostering that family feeling.
Quality Assurance
Archer undertakes a variety of actions to independently ensure the highest level of care and service is offered.
Audits include an Annual Financial Audit organisation-wide, Ministry of Health Audit for the Care provided in Archer’s Care Facility; our retirement villages are independently audited through the Retirement Village Association; and an ACC Health and Safety Audit –which is currently assessed at the highest level of Safety.
We contract a Statutory Supervisor to independently monitor our Retirement Villages to ensure our residents are being well serviced, and we have a very good relationship with this agency.
Benchmarking
Each quarter we are benchmarked Australasia-wide to compare our standards with like-minded facilities.
To date we have regularly scored in the top 10% for overall quality.
