About Archer Village

Lifestyle Retirement Village

Archer Village is an independent-living, lifestyle Retirement Village. 

We pride ourselves in promoting our ‘LIFE’ vision that has a goal to enrich people’s lives by connecting with your interests and passions.

Our Charitable Status benefits you

Archer Village is 100% locally-owned by the ‘Archer Trust’ with Charitable status.

This means  profits as they are generated, are returned to the benefit of everyone involved with Archer. There are no external shareholders where dividends have to be paid. People at Archer reap the rewards of any profits through improved and expanded services made available, and facilities provided.

Quality Assurance

Archer belongs to the Industry aligned organisations, the Retirement Villages Association, and the NZ Aged Care Association, to ensure we keep up with the best practices in services and care for our residents.

Archer Village is independently audited through the Retirement Village Association. In addition to this Archer is a member of an Australasian benchmarking organisation to independently verify the quality of services and care provided. Over recent times Archer has regularly achieved a top 10 status in NZ and Australia for the services and care it provides!

Medical Emergency

All residences have an alarm system that links to Archer Care. Activating this alarm generates a response from Archer staff. They will contact you to inquire about your ailment, then either visit your residence to assist you, organise further medical support or request an ambulance, if needed.

Security

Archer Village shares the same property with Archer Care.

There are automated security gates bordering the main entrance onto Colombo St that are programmed to open/close around sunrise/sunset. Each resident can open these gates after hours by their remote provided at joining Archer, or by using the security pad at the gate entrance.
A patrol guard visits the site several times per night, and is contracted to provide a rapid response service for residents if requested by Archer staff.
